More on Movement

This is the creative dynamic between dreams and movement; the fact that “your body is the ground from which dreaming springs” (Toko Pa-Turner, The Dreaming Way).  In a culture that asserts the language of mechanics and uniformity on the body (both personal and collective), tracking our sensations becomes a well spring - a devotional practice creating a ripple effect of love for the life within us and all around us.

There are many ways to approach our dreams.  As we move our dreams we draw from the wisdom of the body, seeking to cultivate trust in both psyche and soma to arrive into new forms of expression. During a dream movement session I will offer a container of support through practices that orient you in relationship with your senses in the present moment. In this context we’ll explore opening to the vitality within your dream images.  When you’re ready I’ll invite you to call to mind a dream and through a series of questions to begin exploring the movement that arises. The goal is not to break a sweat. In fact, you may find yourself moving very little.
